These terms apply to the OrbitHisaab app and this website, provided by CodeOrbit Technologies (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What the app is
OrbitHisaab helps money lenders keep records of borrowers, loans, schedules, collections and receipts. It is not a lender, bank, NBFC, payment service or credit bureau. It does not accept loan applications from the public, decide who gets a loan, or move any money.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18, able to enter a contract under Indian law, and use the app for your own lawful lending business or records.
3. Your responsibilities
- Hold any money-lending licence or registration your state requires (for example under the Bihar Money Lenders Act) and keep it valid.
- Follow the legal limits on interest and charges, and fair-practice rules. The app’s interest-cap check is a help, not a guarantee of compliance.
- Never use force, threats, harassment or public shaming to recover money. The app has no such features and must not be used for them.
- Collect borrower details and photos lawfully, with the borrower’s knowledge, and keep them accurate.
- Enter amounts and dates correctly, and keep your login, PIN and phone secure.
4. Calculations and documents
Schedules, interest, APR, preclosure amounts, receipts, statements, agreements and No-Dues certificates are generated from the data you enter. They are tools to help you, not legal, tax or financial advice. Please check them before relying on them, and have the loan agreement template reviewed by a lawyer for your situation.
5. Your data
You own the records you enter. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the app to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all its data at any time (see Delete your account).
6. Availability and changes
The app works offline and syncs when online. We work to keep it available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We may add, change or remove features. The app is free today; if we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you can choose whether to subscribe.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to access other users’ data, interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that it fits a particular purpose or that its results are free of errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by wrong entries, lending decisions, or disputes between you and your borrowers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, especially in cases of coercive recovery or misuse of borrower data.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
